Thanksgiving is the season of gathering and giving thanks with close family and friends. This year I decided to have an intimate event with some friends who love and support me outside of being family.

For this event I wanted to keep with all of the traditions of Thanksgiving but I wanted to make them all in bite sizes fit perfectly for a party. I made mac n’ cheese balls and instead of turkey I went with chicken bruschetta with sautéed tomatoes, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.

I creating mini bite size stuffing balls to easily be picked up and added to your appetizer plate.

It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without some veggies right, well I sautéed these brussel sprouts in olive oil and drizzle some balsamic dressing over the top.

The mini’s don’t stop here when it comes to dessert. The dessert tower was filled with mini apple pies, red velvet sandwich cookies, chocolate chip sandwich cookies and banana pudding to add to the top of the tower.

Take a look at how it all came together.

For the severing dishes many of the items I used we collected over time because my motto is if you stay ready you don’t have to get ready when it’s time to entertain. I found many at Ross stores, Marshalls, HomeGoods, At Home Store, Burlington and thrifted.
