Southern belle chic
This weeks style blog was spent on the road traveling to North Carolina for such and unforeseen time due to the passing of my grandmother. This time was well spent with family honoring and celebrating the homegoing of our precious gem of a woman that has sown a wealth of love, stories and wisdom in our lives. She was such a classic chic southern woman that loved to wear her beautiful dresses, pearls, jewels and big hats to church. Her plethora of hats ranged from her casual day hats to her elaborate church hats.
You all may not know this but I love all things vintage glam. I’m mainly lover of accessories such as hats, handbags and old jewelry. During my time in NC, I was privileged to inherit some of her precious hats and brooches. I couldn’t be more honored to continue to style in some of her things.
In upcoming blogs and videos on my YouTube channel I will be sharing some more of the things from her collection. But while I was there I couldn’t help but style one of her hats during a style session in her small town she grew up in Rowland, North Carolina.
Grams this southern belle chic style is for you Darling….
Thank you lovelies for stopping by…
